p800 calendar sync with Notes 5.0.11 |

I'm having some quirky things happen with my calendar sync that don't seem to be covered in any of the threads re: Notes thus far...
I have notes 5.0.11, and my p800 has R2D. In certain situations calendar entries / updates are not making it to the p800 - which has caused me to miss some meetings - which is one of the occurences I got the phone to avoid!
1) When somone else in my organization sends me a calendar invite and I accept on Notes, it gets added to my Notes calendar and syncs to the p800 just fine. Wonderful. If that same person updates or reschedules the meeting, and I accept the change, it registers in my Notes database but NOT in my p800. The p800 does NOT recognize the new time and /or date.
2) If I create a new calendar entry and mark it as an invitation, it creates the entry in Notes, but it never syncs to the p800...
Anyone had these issues? Any ideas? |

Just to let you know - I have the same problems and know of no fix. It's a very annoying problem. |

I have exactly the same problems ... it seems like a bug within the SE syncronization software (even with the latest version). Moreover for any reason after syncronizing some entries disappeared from both the Notes Calendar and the phone calendar.
However I have noticed that if you select the following options under 'Sync Station Setting' - 'Standard Syncronization' the problems above almost disappears:
'Conflict resolution' : check 'Automatically resolve conflicts - keeps item in computer, override item in phone'
'When item is deleted in phone, also delete item in computer for': leave calendar check unmarked
Good luck, hopefully the next version of the sync software will fix this bug.
P.S.: I have Notes v 5.0.11 too ... are u an IBMer as well?

Anyone know of a way to formally submit a bug notification to SE to correct items like these in the sync software? Is it reasonable to expect they would care or take any action? |

I'll pre-empt the response from SE.
Lotus Notes 5.0.11 is not supported by the sync software provided by SE. We only support Lotus Notes V4.6 and V5.0....on Windows 3.1...
