The P800 is included in this (August) edition of T3 Magazine UK, in a feature called "30 Things You Must Own", (notably the Cover Feature).

The feature proclaims "We've selected 30 grade-A objects that any true gadget lover simply has to possess. They're the best of the best"

They chose one product from various catergories which they chose, one of which was "Smart Phone" which the P800 ran away with, T3 wrote "Quick, get the smoke machine out and play some moody music, because the P800 heralds the dawn of a new era. It may look like a phone, but flip open the screen and you're in PDA heaven. There's a whole host of useful applications to keep your diary from spiralling out of control. It's a superb mobile too, with 13 hours of talk time and a heavy cocktail of features including Java games and a built in camera. No doubt about it, this is the phone to own"

So there you have it, included in the BEST, most frank technology magazine in the World's 30 Must Own Things.

Must have been a bit of a kick in the teeth for Nokia considering they had included stuck on the front of the magazine a supplement called "Mobiel Mania" under the T3 logo, they must have paid megabucks to get that done as it's essentially nothing more than one 50page Nokia brochure essentially!

For T3 to include a device which has been out for over a year now saying "the P800 hearalds the dawn of a new era" says something special aboutthe device in question, a great complement to SE!

And not a mention of a Nokia in sight!

And later in the issue at the group test area, like it has said for a few months now, it says it too big!

yere, I noticed that, strange aint it?!

is it a case of split decision within the T3 camp?

Personally I read the reviews in those sections and it actually says that the device is great but its only downside is it's size (and price must have come into it as when they reviewed it they couldn't find it cheap ANYWHERE - and they don't update those reviews on phones and thier prices!!), for those of with big enough pockets (in both sences!) (or in my case big pockets to accomodate the size of phone and a free p800 to cover the cost element!!) the size/price can be overlooked leaving the coast clear for the best device ever not to be hindered by its size! Anyway I'd rather have something deep like that rather than wide like other pdas.

I subscribe to T3 Australia, and from the references to it so far, the guys @ T3 Oz think the P800 isn't all that great. But since they gave me a free set of headphones coz I sent them an email telling them some of their dimensions were wrong in an article about MMS phones, I think they're great. [addsig]
