I find set skip rate to 3 and enable fm. Unless someone says otherwise

Are the emulator and games free of charge? Because I have seen many old emulator pages which never gets shut down. And I heard some years back that games which have not been in production for 5 years is free game for everyone... not sure if that is the truth though. Meaning if SEGA doesn't sell more Sonic, it's free. Hmm... feels wrong, but could be right.
