Why does the T68 in America have different games? |

Well I just got my T68 with AT&T service, and I was all excited to play Tetris, and when I started going through the games I noticed no Tetris!
These are the games that come with the US T68:
Arimona
Contrary
Erix
Four Piles
Naval Fleet(fun playing with other people using Bluetooth!)
North Territory
Q
Yukon Struggle
again, NO TETRIS! I did try the trick for the extra game in "Q" and it works. Its some number puzzel thing right?
Anyhow if anyone knows if mabye Tetris is a "hidden" game for my T68 please let me know.
Also I checked what version software I had in the phone and it says I have the R2B013. Is this the newest version that everyone is saying will be the upgrade in Europe?
Thanks.

I wanted Tetris damnit! I get a bunch of crappy card games I dont know how to play!

if you really want tetris, return your ericsson and go buy a Gameboy,
and if you did some research before you bought the phone, you would've known that tetris was excluded a while ago |

Oh, I'm sorry; I didn't realize that I needed to do a full history check about the T68 before I bought it. Next time I make a cell phone purchase I should ask you first, since you obviously have such clever solutions to certain problems (i.e. getting a Gameboy). Maybe if all the vendors of the phone in America had an accurate description of the phone, I wouldn't have been looking forward to a mini version of Tetris.
Thanks for the tip!

I still cant understand why people pay a small fortune for a mobile phone to play games on them! Ever heard about GameBoy? It's in color and it has tetris too

hey... dont be a flake about Tetris being gone...
i live in California (L.A.) and i have the t68 also... bu ti have Tetris.. but its kinda whack... i'd rather much prefer the battleship game thatn Tetris..... but i cant wait to upgrade mine to the new software for the t68...
my service here is Cingular (was pac bell), and yea.. it's straight coolness to have this phone here cuz there's not that many people here that have it besides me.. and everyone that sees it.... they are like... "wow!!"
THE MIAN POINT is.. for anyone that lives in the U.S., dont whine and complian about jus one lil game, jus show off yer phone and n e one that sees it will congradulate u in having the ONLY tightest COLOR phone in the U.S. and dont count that crappy Sanyo color flip phone (which sucks ) and take care of yer new t68 like its your baby..

True that. I guess Bluetooth battle ship is cool also.
I dont think this phone was as much as a small fortune. Since I work for AT&T broadband, we get half of all At&T wireless phones.
I guess I shouldn't bitch.
Sorry about that-I had newbie rage!

Ah, you see, T68i would support Java you could find a Tetris or whatever.
But maybe they'll release a T68i2 with J2ME support in 3 months time

The funny thing is: At Cebit tradefair last week they displayed prototypes of the T68 running J2ME applications!
So I think there really might be a new T68 in some months time.
cheers,

@hymie
You know, the software we are all waiting for (the MMS...) was already developed more than 6 month ago (the R1A…), and we still don’t have it...!!!
So, by SE, you'll have a J2ME software, if they speed up a little bit, maybe in 5 or 10 years...

I was rather annoyed when Tetris was taken off, but hell. It's not that big a problem.
