I am new to the cell phone market and have been checking everything out as what would be best for me in Canada. I have most cell phone carriers figured out but can not figure out Nokia. What am I missing.

For example SE has the T610, T616, T618 or take the T310, T312, and T316 series, are obvious upgrades for the T300.

So where the hell does Nokia get it's names from. LIke the 6600 and the 6610. You think the 6610 would be an upgraded version of the 6600, but it is not.

My favorite is the difference between the 3300 and the 3310. What the hell do these phones have in common if anything.

The naming scheme the SE uses is very practical and almost every other company in the world uses a scheme like that (i.e. BMW 320, 323, 325, 328, 330)
First number is the family the second numbers are the version with a higher number meaning a better product. Someone please help.

they use different series depening on the target group.... for example 3xxx-series is meant for younger people.... 6xxx is more of businessphones.... for those who is more into exclusive phones they use a phone from the 8xxx series.

Thanks, I still don't like it though. They should get a new VP of marketing.

Equated thats, 3xxx are cheap big ugly rubbish phones for council waller, 6xxx series are for those who have a bit more cash,

and the 8xxx series is a novelty phone for thos in the "My phones best clique"

Basically, 3xxx = crap
6xxx = great phones
8xxx = mainly overpriced new technology.
Now the first thing i need to tell you is don't just go around decappitating zombies left right and center.
