There is a new version of the P800's Ogg Player available at
http://www.geocities.com/p800tools

It looks like the author has updated it with a bug fix or something as instead of beta version 0.9 which was posted about a week ago, there is now version 0.91.

Three sounds about right.. get a bigger duo for more space.

it depends on how much free space you have and the settings you chose when you created the oggs.

at a setting of low (2) i seem to be getting a 3 minute song or roughly 3 mb mp3 down to just over 2 mb ...

there isn't really a right or wrong way to do it - in general, ogg files should take up less room than an equivalent mp3 file. the settings you choose will depend on how much space you have on your p800 and your preferred quality settings.

try http://www.dbpoweramp.com for a simple convertor
try http://www.vorbis.com for more details on comprtession settings.
