Go to the service menu and test the vibrate function there

... and if it still doesn't work, take it to a servicepoint to have the vibrator replaced.

Just a quick question ... is your phone on charge?

I had the same problem when I got my T610. I was playing with all the features while it was having its inital long charge and noticed that the vibrate function didn't function. I tried it again after unplugging it though and it worked fine. My T65 does the same thing too.

Just so that should the phone rings while it's being charged, it doesn't jump out of the charging stand.

ESTOR is right, vibrating function does not work while the phone is being charged. this goes for all SE and ericsson phones, this is by design!!!!!!!!!! check your service menu tests and see if vibrator works (not when it is charging of course!). You may also want to remove the faceplate for your T300 and remove the keypad and dust off your phone with a compressed dust can (used for cleaning keyboards, laptops, etc.). This has happened to my t68i and t300, some dust and dirt particles get in the vibrator motor. See your manual for faceplate removal.

I hope this helps.
