I've been using the P800 now for a good 4 months.

I still haven't realised it's massive otential, infact I never will be able to (especially as I have no real use for things like viewer for example, but then again the editable viewers avaliable for download would possibly be helpfull if the need arose, but I'm not that sort of user).

But I put it to you, (and all the doubters and complainers who come on here and say "THE P800 IS SUCH A BIG LET DOWN" and "SE ARE CRAP" .... this clearly is the BEST piece of electronic equiptment that can fit in the hand and is commercially avaliable to the public!

May I just say that I DEFINATELY think this phone has it all, IT has a phonomenal use for absolutely EVERYBODY. No matter who sees this phone IS BLOWN AWAY by its capibilities, despite the calls of "bit of a brick" .... usually followed by "though" which indicates that they are still in awe of its capibilities!

This phone maynot be THE BEST "camera", "Video Player" etc etc .... but it has IT ALL at an acceptable level for the technology of today. The touch screen function is on its own revolutionary for affordable handheld devices....

SE you've done well, and far EXCEEDED my expectations upon reading about the P800 and it's possible functions over a year ago - and technology moves fast, so THAT is SOME achievement.

Alot of credit must also go to all the DEVELOPERS etc who make this phone what it really is, extending the capabilities to a level of useability and functionality like no other device around.

All that we need now is the Tariff Monitor and the Video app!

(and I would rather see the Tariff Monitor, as theVideo app will be of bad quality anyway, but it's WOW factor will be extremely valuable when selling the phone to toher people as a WORTHWHILE brick!! Oh yeah, and also in response to the fools who still think the 3650 is the best phone around simply due to its ability to record video .... i mean come on, use your eyes!)

Thanks for you time, would appreciate any dispute to what i've said, so I can rip your argument to pieces (hopefully!)!

Thanks!
I started to think that I was the only one who loved my P800!
Most of the posts here are about what a problem the P800 was
I have used mobiles since the really old Ericsson came out, you know the ones you have to carry around like a bag....
P800 are the most perfect PDA/Phone in the world!
Pda´s have been a part of my life for a while, and I have used every Palm and iPaq you can think of!
Neither of them can compete with my P800!

So again, thanks for your post!

I think the same. This thing is amazing.

I use it more for email. It takes me 5 seconds to check email on this phone from the second I pick it up. It takes about 2 to 3 mins on computer that is not turned on and then wait for the dial up!!

It does everything I ever need it to do and if it did have a better camara, I still would not use it either!

I hardly use my laptop anymore

Writing with pen is so fast also. much better then T9

I have until recently used a t68i, combined with my laptop to get online, but buying the p800 was a whole new world to me. Working with computers, and phones makes me addicted to having a palm or something, but now I dont need a palm AND a mobile phone. Cause I have all features I want on my phone!

I have been busy the last couple of days innstalling software to make it even more "functional". Yes, its "big", but hell, I had a Nokia 1611 some years ago. THAT was a big phone!

I have to agree with all of you guys, this is probably the best electronical device on the market at this time!
Kind Regards

I too love the P800. I don't really care about the camera. I have a very nice and small 2Mpixel Casio Exilim and a Canon 6Mpixel digital SLR. While it's cute being able to take pics of people and add them to their contact info, I actually find this to be a pretty pointless feature for me.

Even if the P800 didn't have a camera, I would have bought it.

Also remember that P800 some 8 months after release is still the best smartphone on the market, which is really good knowing that new phones are released almost every day...

Hurrah! Had mine since March and love it to bits. Sometimes it feels a bit big, but sometimes good things come in big packages... ^_~

I bought it in December and loving it each day more. Many of my friends have seen it in the shop thinking it's great. When I demonstrate it to them, they're decked flat, speechless.
I've indirectly 'sold' at least 10 of them after a 3 minute demo showing about 50 percent of it's functions (does that qualify me for SE stocks? hehe) - it's that awesome and some apps propel it out of this world.
I agree with the thread starter - no other electronic device that fits in a palm of a hand at this price, available for everyone is more amazing.
Even 007 looked quite pleased with it in the latest movie.

P800 is a spectacular fireworks exhibition (wow factor) with some serious kick-butt science behind it.

I also think it is pretty good although after mib2 and the car game every other game has been pretty lame, I actually bought it on the pretence that I would get games as good as these if not better,

Shame that there's always one!

As we said, it's not the BEST GAMES CONSOLDE around, it doesn't attempt to be, but there are some pretty damn good games for emulators, such as the sonic games etc etc for SMSPlus .... just gotta accept that the graphics attempted on the two games you mentioned are just showcase games and are highly UNPLAYABLE after a couple of hours. There is no substance or fun nor challenge to them, perhaps the fact that you just want to be able to show off your phone for its graphics capabilities are more important to you than the actual playability/useability as a device. You won't find better elsewhere!

If you haven't got Smsplus, then may i suggest you get it!

I couldn't agree more... I tried to convince my aunt into getting a t610, but she got a 3650... and I must say after playing around with this 3650 for a while..

it's really nothing like the p800, and for those bitching about video, 10 secs is really nothing and i don't think counts as a feature over the p800

Nokia still hasn't learned their lesson with their smartphones... not even a touch screen yet... I don;t even think the new nokia has a touchscreen !

Anyway glad to see other ppl liking it, but it won;t be long until the p800 bashers come in and start bitching about the phone !

yeah, the touch screen feature rocks!!! It made the fone so user friendly. I used to hate ericsson for its user-friendliness. but with their P800... now i hate nokia.

hey, not to menton the biggest screen ever!

and those 10sec clip? alright, thats why it's called a clip... it can only go as far as 10secs.

hmm... i wonder how many MINUTES can P800 do? video recorder for P800 is all that is to make those nokia fones obsolete.

any nokia avid fan out there? hehehe
Own a P800.. It's definitely worth your money.

LOL! There IS always ONE!

You've now TWICE managed to prompt a post which Doesn't PRAISE the p800 OUTWARDLY!

But that wasn't meant to be of offence, just a joke, and anyway I went on to answer you!
