Screen Calibration |

I was having some problems with my flip and the SE service center have changed and put me a new LCD screen. When i go to settings and calibrate and use the jogdial to restore the factory setting, the calibration of the screen is not perfect. In places such as in the tasks, when i click on that small arrow to change the priority it doesnt show me the pull down menu. There are some other places on the phone where this happens.
If i try to calibrate it manually, it works much better, but sometimes it is also irresponsive, and have to click 2-3 times.
Is this a problem with my LCD? when i went to the SE Service center they dont help and say "the techincans say there is no problem with the phone"
Can anyone help? I Dont think i faced this with my old LCD. | |

first, u are lucky the guys changed the screen! wow.. thats a pretty expensive part in itself!
anyway.. there is two parts to the calibration process.. one is to calibrate the x and y cordinates (so that the phoen can track where on the screen you are clicking, accurratly) second is to adjust the "pressure" required to register a "click". If during the calibration process you pressed those "points" a little harder than you normally would, the phone woudl in general require a harder press to "register" a click. whereas if you touched those points "lightly" then the phone may register clicks where there is none.
My advise is to perfeorm the alibration again, and touch those points with normal pressure, and your phoen will bahevae correctly!
[UPDATE] I have also found out by doing a test, that the time for which you hold down the stylus on those cirlces during calibration, also has an effect on whether a click is registered or not. Shorter time means more responsive, but susceptible to rogue clicks. Longer time means less responsive, but less susceptibel to rogue clicks.
