Hi..
I'm considering whether to buy the official SE data transfer cabel for my T310, or buying a IrDA USB Dongle.
What works best? How does it work?
I mean, can i transfer data from my phone to the PC?
And how? I wan't to make sure because in DK each of these costs about 50£ (which is a lot of money to throw out the window if it does not work..)
The happy owner of a SE T310. Genious phone..Compared to the phone i had before (Siemens C45).. |

Go for the IR dongle. I have SE DRS-11 cable and can only send files TO the T310; using cable you can't retrieve anything from your T310. This cable limitation does not however apply to other more advanced SE models.

Thanks to both of you.
I've already ordered a IrDA Dongle, for 199 dkr. (which is about 17-18£). Found a cheap one on a danish phone accessorie shop.
And for Drow--> A Bluetooth Dongle won't do, because of the simple reason that SonyEriccson decided not to include bluetooth to the T310.
But i can live with IrDA. |

Just got my IrDA Dongle.
Works perfect (using WinXP Pro). Just plugged it in and a shortcut to a file transfering program popped up at my desktop. |

IR is by far the easiest way to transfer stuff. |
