Myself and Grimbo took our R2D models to Carphone Warehouse at MetroCenter (Newcastle) and got them both upgraded to R2F for free.
Ask where you purchased your phone, or find a carphonewarehouse and ask them, my mate didn't even buy his from them!

What's the difference between R2D and RF2 in regards to the full screen player? |

when you upgrade to R2D or R2F, aside from more stable OS and various other features, you get full-screen viewers for pictures and video. firmware upgrade is the only way to get the full-screen viewers. |

I think you are wrong about R2d having a full screen video capability native with the P800. If I'm wrong please tell me hhow to play full screen video without upgrading to R2f. |

AntonioX, i have to agree with you, i have R2D and if i click on a pic or movie you see them full screen. camera has night mode as well. i have only had 3 TOD's (triangle of death) since i got the mobile 5 weeks ago. two of them today composing sms. i was not too happy having to restart the p800 before i sent a long sms, had to retype the sms.

you can get a program that lets u view full screen pictures. I have it. What I dont have is the full screen mp4 player which seems cool. The camera update im talking about says in the read me file
"n improvement has been made to the image quality obtained on P800 when a PersonalJava application
loads graphic images and photos into the application for display.
Improvements to the PersonalJava color adaption algorithms means that images are better adapted to
the 4096 color display capability of P800. Due to an optimized dithering feature
the percieved image quality will equal or exceed that of the stock native picture application.
The update is provided as a SonyEricsson signed SIS file 'ImageFix.SIS' that is installed onto the P800 device.
The update need only be done once.
This provides an picture quality enhancement for all existing P800 PersonalJava
applications that draw Image objects on screen (using the java.awt.Graphics.drawImage() methods)."
Its just an image fix. Thought it was more.
Thanks for your replys everyone.
