A question about jpeg format and T610 |

Gday!
I'm having some problems when I create my own themes for my glorious T610. Some jpeg pictures refuse to work with it and shows as a "red cross" in "my pictures".
I've tried several different sizes and also some different compressions.
Does anyone have an answer why this happens? I mean.. Someone else must have had the same problem. Maybe I have to use some special settings in photoshop and such?
Cheers!

Nope.. I mean the red cross it shows in "my pictures" when it's unable to show a picture. Some jpegs (128x127) work but not others (saved with the same compressionrate and all).
Thanks for the answer tho m8. |

dont have one, but but as far as i know, pic size for t610 is 128x128, maybe thats why you cant see the jpeg?

/me feels a bit stupid for a bit
I've just about tried everything (or so I thought) when saving my pictures in Photoshop 7. But for some unknown reason (syntax error perhaps) I "forgot" to change the format options when saving.
In case you guys have some FAQs or something.. You have to save your jpegs in Baseline format. Any of the two will do it seems.
Silly me. Thanks for the answers and your time tho guys!

Yes, I suppose I could. But gif is only 256 colors. Kinda takes the fun outta the fullcolor screen.
Btw.. Could someone clear this out for me. In Theme Creator Pro 3G you have to make your background (for the desktop) 128x127 pixels. However, I read somewhere (can't remember where) that the backgrounds should be 128x128. Which is right? I guess it's 128x127 since it looks good with THP3G.
I figure the phone will scale the images to fit, but I'd still like to know.

use only "standard" compression method, you can't use "progressive" or any other method. it won't show in the phone.
