I assume it's from the T66 you want to remove the SIM just take off the back cover and the battery.. then just push the SIM out to the side, there is a little opening on the side for the SIM card. |

or is it on your new T68???
if so, just put your nail under the end of the sim (the one with the "cut off" corner) , and slid it out with your other hand. |

I know, that's quite difficult compared to other phones, don't you agree? |

that's why I make the service people take it out for me, i don't have long nails and it's a bitch to get out.
once, i tried to take it out and it took me like 15 minutes, i was afraid of breaking the simcard, lol

It shouldn't take you that long!
I just place the nail of my index (point)finger under the corner and place my thumb on top of the card and slide it out...
Takes about 5 seconds, but it's much easier with ANY other phone!

I use the tip of a ballpoint pen to prise the card up slightly and then use my thumb to slide the sim out.
It is actually quite difficult to break a sim card!

On the T39, it helps if you push the card into the phone slightly, so that the contacts are compressed a little, thereby tilting the card so that the left edge of the SIM card rises and then pull the card to the left. |

I have two SIM cards, one for work and one private, so I switch SIM cards rather often. It's a good thing that it is possible to keep the card not in use on top of the active one behind the battery. I think that works on the T68's too. It's a pity that the phone doesn't have two SIM sockets, which could be selected programmatically. I don't like the solutions available as battery replacements, which switch each time you turn on/off the phone. There are times when I would like to have both SIMs active, and the solution with two phones is too expensive and takes too much space in my pockets.

on my T68 i just slide a calling card or anything flat that's thin enough to go underneath the SIM (from the small opening where you slide it in) and then i clip my fingers above the SIM so i can pull it out |
