Using:

IM+
Java MSN

I can connect/log in to my MSN Messenger account when my P800 is connected to the USB cradle, as I guess it is using the ADSL connection of my PC. It does not ask me to choose an Internet connection preference and automatically connects. All well and fine..

However, when the phone is not connected to the cradle and when I try to log into MSN Messenger with either IM+ or Java MSN, it asks for a Internet Account Pref (in this case I use the Vodafone GPRS account that I have set up and which incidentally works fine when I connect to the Internet) Problem is that the GPRS appears to be connected, but it will not log into my MSN Messenger account. There does not seem to be any data transfer at all :
Data Sent: 0kb
Data Rececived: 0kb

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how can I overcome this ? As I would really like to be able to connect using my Vodafone GPRS settings..

Any help, greatly appreciated..

make sure you havent got the WAP connection settings.

You need an APN of "internet" and a user/pass of web/web.

Search in the GPRS settings forum for voda and you'll find it if that doesnt' work.
