I forgot my phone unlock code for my Sony Ericsson T68i.
Is there any way to reset this phone, or restore the factory settings?

It has been a long time since I have used this phone, I have a Nokia 8310 now ....

Did you try the default 0000?

You can only master reset if you know the phone lock code.

Default unlock code is 0000
if you changed it and forgot it
I guess you need to bring proof of ownership
to a service point and have them unlock it.

Shit, that's what I thought ...

I don't think I have any proof of ownership anymore .. I mean, I have it, but I don't know where, so that's the same thing.

Damnit. Guess I'll continue using my Nokia...

In the UK, most street markets have a mobile phone trader with a stand selling cases, facias etc.... and mobile unlocking!

Cheers,

Steven.

@Vlammetje: normally you get this MMS-problem at a phone that doesn't support MMS. Of course, the MMS itself doesn't know what kinda phone you've got, so the operator (in your case Orange) checks if MMS is enabled at your number. Apparently your MMS isn't activated :-l Call Orange if so... (Does Orange support MMS in The Netherlands? Cool! In Belgium they're only interested in i-mode!)

@geert - my point was, 'traders' exists who'll do it for you no problem, and cheaply.

@MaThIbUs - right post, wrong thread?!

Float's Mobile Agent shows the security code if you can turn on the phone and connect it to a computer. (Not sure if that was what you was looking for)

Thanks a lot for the posts! ...

I'm trying to connect the T68i to my PC, but W2K asks for a driver for an "unknown USB device" ... someone has a driver? Or a link?

Maybe it's on the cd, butt ermmm .... I don't have the cd anymore ..
