(1) Did anyone beside me notice that the beep for incoming sms-messages are awfully low on the new T68i? It doesn't matter if the ringing volume is set to the loudest one. The old Ericsson-beep for sms is gone (at least I can't seem to find a way to activate it).

(2) The ringing volume between 2-4 has the exact same "loudnes", no differences between them at all when the phone rings.

Anyone with the same problems?

If you go to a local Telia store, you'll see that on the pricelist it says MMS-function for the T68. That makes it very difficult for them to argue against de facto. I'm not saying I did make my self an annoying customer at "Telia" - but I did make myself an annoying customer while stating my case wherever it was I bought my original T-68. It shouldn't matter where you bought it; what matters is that all of you who are disapointed, are so because it lacks an essential feature - claim it!

Another person on esato stated that a faulty device must be turned in two times before getting the status of faulty. Please do remember that we are here talking about a missing feature - not an actual "faulty" device. Though the affect and legal matter is treated the same. You should all go and claim your rights out there.

check to make sure "increasing ring" (in the settings->sounds and alerts menu) is set to "off". otherwise, for an sms beep, it just gives you the beginning of the "increasing" volume ring for your message beep (which is just a very low beep)

I have the same problem, the sms tone is way to soft, my volume is set to 6, increasing ring off.

Did you also notice this sound difference in volume with the service tones??? Whevener you switch your phone on and the phone had logged on to the network you hear three confirmation beeps. With "old" ericsson phones these were much louder!

Yes! Those are the problems I'm having. One other thing. When making a call, the beep for connecting is now gone!

Can you hear any difference between the sound levels between stage 3-5? I can't. They are the same on my phone!

with my t68i, the volume levels 2,3 and 4 are exactly the same! Didn't even notice that untill today. Another bug.

Volume level 5 and 6 are different from each other and certainly louder then level 4

I keep mine at 6, then there is actually a chance that i'm able to hear a sms come in.

I am not jealous but I am happy to hear that T68i is not that perfect and that you miss somethings of our old T68m, regards

Hehehe I really agree with you jucame!
The more pics I sees of T68i - the closer Im getting the idea of switch, but the more I read about it, the more bugs seems to appear and that makes me calm down a little

But I think it looks cool though

Just give us our upgrade now
