Just in case anyone's interested in encoding your audio to mp4 under MS Windows.

Download the dBpowerAMP Music Converter (dMC) [Free] here:
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/

Then download the MP4 encoder here:
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central-mp4.htm

Note that the encoder is in beta so don't expect all your audio to be converted properly. Also, the resulting file size (so far) after conversion is a lot bigger (ie. encoding a 128kbps mp3 resulted a bigger filesize for mp4 encoded at 128kbps. Even selecting a lower bit rate produced a larger filesize to other formats of the equivalent bit rate.. but then again let your ears be the judge =)

After transferring the mp4 audio file to your p800 (place it in the video folder) you can use p800's video player to play the audio.

This is just one of those things to watch for when the final version is released
