Some minutes ago I was talking to a friend of mine. He is working i Telenor (Norways leading ISP and tele). Anyway, he told me that the Telenorshops (Telehuset) got the T68i cellphones today, more shops are getting it as the days comes by.

Here is the clue. He told me that SonyEricsson can't release phones on the marked without having the software ready for it. Think like this: You buy a T68i phone, and it has a bug. So you have to deliver it to an Ericsson Service Point. They MUST have the T68i software to fix your new and current T68i-phone. It's logical. They can't release a phone they can't service-fix.

As far as I know, the hardware in these two phones are identical. This means that the software for the T68i (that probably is out, since T68i out) will work in T68 too. I do not believe that they have another software-version for out T68's.

This is it.

Yeah, I know. Someone else said this as well a few weeks ago. But since then, people have said that it's not possible or something to download onto T68m....
T68GR is actually trying to download the T68i software onto his phone, but he needs a T68i IMEI number...

Hmm. IMEI? If I understood right.. the IMEI number can be found in the "secret" servicemenu on T68. I see mine now.

The IMEI is no secret, you can find it under your battery!
And the thing with the MMS SW that is released is that its connected to the IMEI of all T68i - thats why it cant be used on our "ordinary" T68m.

Sorry guys..what we need is a T68m to T68i flash file. The T68i software will not run on the T68m with it´s current file management system. To avoid the problem of loading a sw into a phone which does not support the T68i file system, the emma2 server will check the emei..If you change your imei (without upgrading the file system in the phone) and then flash the t68i sw to the phone...Good Luck...Sorry we need the T68m to T68i flash...Check r380 converstion flash for referens...

It will come, I hope soon....
Cheers!

Please read this article (in Danish): http://dk.mobil.nu/nyheter/visa.asp?id=3785&sid=1

It says that the update will be out in 3 weeks! This is confirmed by Sony Ericsson Mobile, so stop speculating! We are (well I am...) very tired of all this speculations about the upgrade. Please share some real facts! Thanks!

One thing though - some says that told them it will be available before end of March and other claims that they´ve been told in May.
And you can read both dates in Magazines.

But I really hopes it comes soon

Hi johanch!
Still got one week to go
Has a Microsoft Excel education on Monday and Tuesday and then just Wednesday and Thursday left. And I guess Thurs. will be quite calm with "saying good-bye" to all my friends and then some coffee, and not to forget, its "Skärtorsdagen" so it probably only will be a half day there and then its Easter
