My P800 died the other day so I had the SW upgraded to bring it back to life. (Yes, the standard "My Phone Is Dead" issue...)
When I started the phone back up I was suprised to see how exelent the new Norwegian language was with the new SW, me happy...
I knew that all of the stuff I'd put in to the phone was deleted during the upgrade so I thought "Why not start all over again as if the phone was brand new"... So that's when I did the bloomer! I formatted the internal drive and DUO...
All the features in the new SW is still there apart from the Norwegian language!!! Now I've only got English language (not that that really matters) but I would like to warn othere not to do wat I just did!

DON'T FORMAT YOUR PHONE UNLESS YOU NEED TO!!!

(Yeah, yeah... spare me the stupid coments you were just about to write... )

It's not so serious, you can just download the language pack from SE website.
It seems to me that a language pack is treated like an application so formatting (master reseting) will remove it.

I know...
It's just that I could have saved myself the troubble if I had only formatted the DUO (wich is what I intended to do), not the whole thing.

Exactly the same things happened to me, my new Language deleted after format but i didn't care it, at least your phone didn't die while software upgrade.
