Hallo Folks. I have a software version R1B008 and i readed here that latest version of T300 is R1G. What is new or change from my version? |

I have R1B too, and I noticed on the phone of a friend of mine with R1G that there were less text messages options, and that there wasn't a joystick counter in the secret menu :-(

AFAIK R1B was the first european version and R1D the first UK version. My son got his T300 from Brussels and started with R1B and my daughter got hers from Vodafone and it had the R1D.
Both were upgraded a couple of months back to R1G and both said wow! how much faster it is and my son reckons he can get more space on his when he resets compared to with R1B.

The R1G firmware fixed my gprs connection so I could wap with Comviq (a network operator) which I couldn't do before. But in R1G the Erix game is deleted, but I haven't noticed any more memory though.

Orange UK ships all its t300s with r1b. R1g deleted erix when i upgraded, and gave me 600k free. Upgrading to t310 firmware gave me thps4, minigolf, ace of spade, and 600k free.

my Rogers AT&T offers the T306 with embedded THPS4...what software version does the phone use, most likely? |

What do I have to do to get the latest firmware to the T300 ? can a electroshop that has SE do the job ?
How much does it cost ?

@Gulliksen : you have to go to a SE service center (you can find those on the SE website).
If your phone is still under warranty, they should upgrade it for free.

I heard about r3 something. It should have CALENDAR. If is this true I will have it. Can somebody prove that?

Using Div6.2, terminator dongle, and a t310 flash file found on the web, and a t300-to-t310.gdfs
I then had the problem that my t300 was calling itself a t310, which technically voids my warranty, so I found a gdfs which changed the model name back to t300. |

I dont have R3B for the t310, I know someone who has Div8.0 and R3B but he has not been online for a long while. |
