I've heard of a code that can make your T68i into a radar/speedcam detector. Is this for real and if so what is the code and how does it work?

I think twilightwap have some code or other, they say it relates to Nokia phones but it involves adding area info settings so I guess it's network related not handset related (doesn't say which network though) go to twilightwap.com on your phone.

Oh look. A flying pig. It's a myth, the nokia method invokes turning on closed user groups, which does just that. Meaning you won't get calls from users not in your group. Erase this cack from your mind now.

I have followed a few long threads on the usenet groups aus.comms.mobile and alt.cellular.nokia but no one actually said it worked on the nokias. I reckon its all a joke myself! I mean how could it possibly work? location based services yes maybe but this radar detector thing on Nokias has been around for a few years.
I've never heard of this in relation to any other brand of phone though.

it was on nokia phones and all ti was if u entered 0000 in to the cell info menu ( i think ) you got a spinning radar thing on the screen where the profile name went. but it didnt detect speed traps or anythink it was just a blag to show your friends in the pub it also works with 1111 or any oter number that isnt on the networks cell info list |

What he meant was, i think, that people having CDs hanging or stuck in their cars hoping to trick radars/speed detectors are complete morons. We have quite a few over here as well. P.S. I've heard of this radar detection trick for Alcatels a couple of years ago - I thought it was yet another bad joke.
