Sending ringtones via SMS |

I was experimenting with sending ringtones to various phones in our home (mostly nokia's) from my T300. This didn't seem to work at all. I could only send midi files via MMS to a 3510i.
I next tried to send ringtones via SMS from my PC connected to my T300 by IR. I pasted the nokia binary format (those that start with SCKL) into fma and sent it. My T300 and a 3510i and a 6210 (?) received the ringtone ok, but my sister's 3310 got nothing. I thought this was strange, cause she received ringtones before from other sources.
After a bit of trail and error I found that I could successfully send her a ringtone using Logomanager (via the 6210) and a program I found called SMS-it (via my T300).
Could anyone shed some light on these different ways of sending ringtones?
The T300, 3510i and 6210 could receive ringtones with both methods, but it seems that the nokia binary format (sckl) does not work with the 3310.
What is the format of the ringtones sent through SMS-it and Logomanager?

I think rtttl is the format supported by 3310. Plus the 3310 has less characters in its sms memory than the 6210.
