Is there a program that allows you to remove unwanted filesthat get left over, after you have installed and then uninstalled programs on your P800.

Mate, try File Manager. You can handle all your files direct from your PC. I'll try and hunt down the link where you can download it from.

I have the same problem. The difficulty is you don't know where all the files are. It would have been easy if they are all in the same directory but they are not. Like Windows, there is not good solution to this.

what we need is for someone here who hasn't installed anything into the phone since the time it was bought and which the service provider hasn't installed any personalization to the phone to list all the files/directories in a:\,c:\ and z:\ drives

that list would surely be useful (=

teg I totaly agree with you, that would be very useful. I can not understand why when you delete a program it still leaves traces in the phone. I have tried to remove these but there does not seem to be away of doing it. A program that simply cleans out all files no longer needed by the phone, as the program is no longer in the phone would be great.

The uninstall facility in P800 is not the same as what Windows/Mac do. So you really need a third party app like File Manager to totally delete the file including its directory created.
