Hi

Has anyone used their T610 with their Parrot CK3000 yet? Is it affected by the crackling people have been mentioning relating to the BT headsets? I should be getting my T610 next week and was just enquiring in advance.

Cheers

CK3000 works brilliantly with the T610. There is no crackling, the sound is crystal clear. Make sure the ck3000 box you get is atleast upgraded to Version 3.0

Thanks for the very quick reply.

I've currently got Parrot v.2.40. Will this cause an incompatibility problem between the Parrot and the T610? If so how do I go about upgrading my Parrot software? (I'm in the UK)

Thanks again

Marc

I don't think v 2.40 will work with T610 (Not really sure though), Parrot just released v3.03 today, though my kit is on v3.0 and it works perfectly. Upgrade.. you have two options.

1) Buy the flash upgrade cable thru www.mobiland.co.uk, it costs 13 quid + P&p. With that, you might ALSO want to order a power cable (cigraette lighter adaptor if U have a laptop and U want to upgrade inside the car OR a mains power adaptor if U want to take the black box out and upgrade in your home, both are availale with Mobiland) A word of caution, if U checkout the Parrot Userforum at www.driveblue.com, you'll find lots of users (me included) who bought their cables from Mobiland didn't manage to upgrade for one reason or the other. Before ordering, call Moblaind on 01733 771 995, ask for Ken (he knows Parrot products very well), and confirm with him if any problems with the cables (if indeed there were) were identified and fixed.

2) You can send your box to Mobiland and they'll upgrade it to the latest version available for 13 pounds.

Option 1 is better cos then you'l be able to upgrade for free whenever Parrot release a new s/ware version.

Check out this link : http://www.mobiland.co.uk/product.asp?cce=M2FRC100

If U need any further clairfication, email me at RizSher@hotmail.com.

Cheers Matey!!!!

I'll contact Ken at Mobiland in the morning and ask his advice on the whole procedure.

Thanks for the really useful info.

not sure which parrot, but I used mine today with the T610 (previos T68is) and seemed to work fine. I even think the bluetooth reception might be improved.

Hi,

I own a CK3000 with software 2.40 and a T610 and they work flawlessly. No problems at all.

Right..........

I've tried pairing my T610 with the CK3000 v2.40 and it picks pairs with no problems but............

I can't access the Parrot Menu via the Accessories menu in the phone. When I select the Parrot Menu the phone says "Syncronizing" then "Syncronization Complete" but it doesn't enter the menu like it did with my T68i!

When I press the Green button to initiate voice dialling it doesn't do anything either! Doesn't beep, doesn't speak to me etc etc!

You say it works flawlessly for you Julio but does all the above work okay for you?

Marc

p.s. Gonna upgrade the Parrot software this weekend so hopefully that might work. The Julio comment just got me worrying though!

MarcsOnFire: Make sure U use a computer with a real serial port. Re:My Previous post, I used my old upgrade cable from mobiland wiht a PC with a real serial port and the upgrade worked perfectly. U shud upgrade ASAP cos Parrot have released version 3.10 and 2.40 is way too old. I use my T610 (R1L s/ware) with ck3000v3.10, and all the functionality is there. I'm not sure why Julio said 2.4 works without a flow with T610 cos from wot I've learnt from Parrot T610 started working properly (i.e. Parrot menu etc) only came with v3.00.
