sometimes my p800 is very fast in opening apps such as jotter or my contacts or pictures! it just takes 1 sec! i enter the pics section and all pics seems to be loaded! and sometimes it loads every single picture!

but sometimes its so slow! nearly 3 secs or 4! why does this happen! whats the reason for that!? what can i do to make it run fast all the time!

The P800 is usually fast when the application is already open, i.e if er you start your app, then go straight to main, or close the flip the app will remain open in the memory of the p800 then if you start it it will open much faster, if you shut the app, or turn off your unit, the app will take slightly longer to start.

Ok, I'm still a learner on this forum and on the phone, but I think I can maybe answer your question... Would advise you await further advice from others though

* Maybe you have loadsa apps running in the background. If you have Handyday or Tracker I know you can go in and shut any apps that are open (not sure how you can do this if you dont have HD or Tracker)

* Maybe your memory is almost full on the phone.

* Maybe you should try switching the phone off and back on again.

* Maybe when you think it takes 3-4 seconds you are drunk and hence you are too slow for the phone. Really the phone is still taking 1 second!

Hope the 1st 3 "MAYBE"s help.
