Ok before I get slapped like a little school girl for not using the search by the moderators...I did!

Does anyone know of anyplace online that has a stock of these (keywords are IN STOCK). All the places I checked from here were out of stock.

Any help would be greatly appreciative.

Thanks,

However there is a Gigabyte Sony Memory Gate stick out at present and as the DUO is basically replacing the Memory Gate (cus its smaller!) it wouldn't surpise me if a 256, 512 and a mighty gig stick do eventually become available.

How many oggs is that?!!!!

www.bestcameras.co.uk

They have 256mb DUOS. I emails SE, and they said that the p800 will only support up to 129mb. This might be just because they dont support 256mb officially yet...?

Nice, http://www.bestcameras.co.uk are selling the 128MB stick for Ģ50 with p&p, im so tempted to buy one but there is a part of me that longs for a bigger stick lol. I am gonna wait until this business of 256MB confusion clouds over and either our suspicions of higher memory being compatible are confirmed or they are rained upon by sony for not letting us store enough stuff on our phones.
As from everyone from either Sonystyle or Sony ericsson is saying that this new pro duo that is exactly the same size and supports serial transfer that its not compatible just because the software is not reading the memory correctly, i really think it would be possible to allow that memory to be accessed although the architecture is different.
There has been speculation and certain people at expos and stuff claiming they have seen the 256MB working in a P800 but there is no proof as yet, either they are doing it just to start an interesting debate off or they thought they saw something they didnt, and there are also those pessimists out there that try and make out there is no way the ericsson will support over 128mb, I am waiting to see what happens before buying more memory, expansys.co.uk claim they have a 256mb duo but the product code on the site relates to the PRO DUO which is different that the picture of a normal MSH duo they pictured, Sonystyle.com have the 256MB pro duo which many people have bought and found out that it doesnt work.
Maybe a firmware or software modification will allow us to read the pro duo or maybe expansy has been given information on a new duo with like a select function or something as with the normal memory stick. But for now nothing over 128 is compatible and im hoping that it wont stay like that.
The P900 is going to be able to support the new duo pro, and its basically a P800 with much more makeup on and UIQ2.1. I hate not having enough memory, I cant be bothered to keep changing sticks.
I bought the P800 expecting there to be more than 128MB available in the duo as it said on their whitepaper, whether or not this happens remains to be seen though, stay optimistic!

bestcameras don't have stock.

I tried.

Eventually I gave up and got one on ebay for Ģ64 including shipping from US to UK.

It was worth it.
