Had same prob mate and just ordered a new sim from t-mobile and all ok now! Prob was am old sim! :-)

Sorry about the post on the other thread (operator is to quick for phone!). I had the same problem with a t65 it just did not like a new o2 sim it would display invalid mobile or crash or both though it was fine with other sims.
