Organiser world have it for $749 which seems pretty good but as I am still stuck in Europe I haven't been able to check out any shops yet.

yep - Sony Store in Chatswood $699 
and it's non vodafone branded too, which is hard to find. The shop got 50 yeaterday and we bought two of the last three or four they claimed they had left.

wow! thats good for the Chatswood Sony store. In my experience they have always sold at full RRP. maybe when they moved their shop they decided to become more competitive?

Apparently the deal was $799 but a $100 discount?! |

Like I said, I didn't make the purchase, and I didn't call them myself. It's just the Sony Store in Chatswood - no boube they're in the whitepages
The $100 off was just what they were doing for people that walked in off the street.
I hope they have some left and are still selling them for $699 in the morning!

At the moment the Aussie Dollar is about 68 cents US, which makes it a lot closer to the prices you're quoting |

I got the stupid Vodafone Live.
Beside the annoying ICON the phone is great.
I sign 24 month contract and got the fone for 0 dollars.
