A lot of t610 owners are wondering if it (t610) can be used with an mca-25? Because a lot of them were former t68 and t68i owners and when they upgraded their phone to t610 they felt that their mca-25 has become useless pieces of s__t.

Considering the T610 has a built-in cam...... I have to say I really don't see the relevance. Is there any real 'need' for the MCA-25 to be compatible?

The charm of the T610 is that everything is packaged in the 1 phone, rite?

Why don't u just sell the MCA-25 then?

My 2 cents...

but could it still be attached? will the phone accept it? I read that the mca-25 takes clearer images. Sell it? Good idea but who would want an mca-25 now when everyone is all out to grab a t610? Hehehehe!
I just thought that it might be an alternative to use it or the built in cam. That is if there is a really big difference in image quality between the built in cam and the mca-25.

It doesn't work? So what do you plan to do now with your mca-25?
Have you noticed any difference between the built-in cam and the mca in image quality?

It doesn't work and nor does the mca-20 (or mca-10 or mca-10 view!). This has been answered a few times already.

Vlammetje, It seems though that people would like it to work despite the internal camera due to the higher resolution capability of the plug on cams.

Personally I am happy with the built in cam, suits my needs for quick photos to email

Just asking. If the question, you said, was already answered before I probably have missed it. Thanks for the info, anyway.

no worries, if you don't ask you don't know!

actually I should think most T68i owners would prob sell their MCA cam with the phone when they get the T610 just to make as much cash back as possible.

@ manfran im keeping it for use with my t68i. i have two sims so have two phones, i use which ever one is required at the time. i find the internal cam to be pretty good actually. as a package the t610 beats the t68i+mca as you can actually see the photo properly on your phone. but if your looking for the best actual camera it would be the mca-25.

I have found the quality of pictures taken with the t610 to be better than the mca 25 when viewed on a computer any way.

the mca-25 and p800 cams take pics at vga (640x480) while the t610 cam takes pics with max resolution of 320x240, afaik.

Yeah. The T610 can't interface with any of the attachable cameras. But I still think that the quality of, say, the MCA-20 is much better than the build in T610 one.
