Hi guys,

Just wondering if they have some kind of software for the p800 like traffic master but works as a GPS route planner, so i can just leave it on in the car and know what roads i`m on , or plan my journey etc...
Any feedback would be appreciated

This would be a really cool bit of kit if it could

There is one for PDA's but they haven't ported it for P800 (yet?!). And yes it would be cool gadget to have. Though it's a bulk thingie you put in your car and it connects via GPRS if I am not all wrong (memory can be faulty in humans too you know )

well i suppose if you are just using if for directions you can go onto multimap.com but that would just be the icing on the cake if they had a navigation tool

Oh my god, this is amazing. I don`t think it is for the p800 though. It says the bluetooth gps hardware is compaitble with any gps software currently on the p800, so i doubt it will be on the p800 but if it was, how awesome would that be.

The software is only for the PocketPC. The GPS will work with any Bluetooth enabled device, including the P800, but without the software it's kinda useless.

Here's their response to the question...

Dear Stephen,

Thanks for your mail.

Currently, we are investigating the options to release software like City Maps and Route Planner for SYMBIAN 7.0 based phones like Sony/Ericsson P800 and Nokia 7950

However, we can not give you any date when to expect a release.

Watch our website at http://www.tomtom.com to stay informed of new releases.
