Sounds like a driver that went mad. Try uninstalling the driver for the BL Dlink DBT-120 or if you can get an updated driver for it from work or a friend.

Though this is no P800 problem, it's totally PC related.

I use a 120 with XP and it works fine.... It looks like its IP related as the dbt-120 is assigned an ip address when its plugged in but it should be on a private subnet away fro your real network card...

Im assuming that your assigned an ip address on your adsl line via dhcp so technically this should not be affected.... Pop open a command promot and type ipconfig to see what ip addresses you have assigned....

Does your adsl line work if you unplug your bluetooth dongle?

my adsl line didn't work eventhough I've disconnected my BL device. I just did system restore in XP, unplugged my BL device. Everything works fine, incluiding my PC suite. Now I am afraid of installing BL in PC. darn, I just want to use BL connection with my P800.

Just installed my BL device. PC is fine, but can't connect to my P800. It says no service found at P800. I tried to bluebeam my PC, it worked. How to turn the serial port on ? Is it possible to connect my P800 to my computer using DLink DBT-120 ?? Which brand of USB BL is the best ???

HELP !

Hi

Im assuming that the P800 uses the Nokia phone monitor?

To confirm that the Phone monitor software is installed, look for a phone handset in the system tray. Also, you will have an applet in Control Panel called Phone Monitor Options...

I had to enable the relavent port (com3 on my pc) in Phone Monitor Options AND reserve that port. That got me a reliable bluetooth connection sorted....

Hope this helps...?

i have the dbt 120 and its great.

Having a few problems with the new drivers 1.4.1 build 6, but the old ones were fine, and also on the generic billionton stack.
