my P800 has been doing this for a couple of times now.. i dont know why.... whenever i call someone, i dont hear the bell ringing, i just hear them picking it up straight away!!!1 i did everything, tried restoring, tried a hard reset.... it works alright for sometimes, and then goes back to the "no ringing tone mode"...

P.S. it does not happen always.. sometimes.. as in twice a week or soemthing... or a bit more maybe too...

does it take long for them to pick up the phone? Because if it doesn't it's probably because it rings in their phone first before you hear it ring in yours and they answered the phone before the first ring ended.

hmm. could be one of two things, your phone or your service provider but since you mentioned it only occurs one or two times a week then it's probably your service provider. But if you would really like to rule out the phone and you know someone who has a p800 and you could borrow it for a while, switch SIM cards and see how it goes.

I've been having this problem in lebanon for one week.
and the strange thing, it only occurs in the morning for a couple of hours, then it will work normaly.
First I thought it is related to the location but it was not the case.
The other issue I can suspect is the long time battery recharge. Cause today I didn't recharge my P800 and the problem didn't take place.
Anyway I raised this issue to the operator and I will get an answer soon.

Regards
