first time I've seen this:
I got a call from an unlisted call and the phone had only two options:
Send Busy Signal
Mute
Where did my Answer Call button go?
any thoughts/ideas?

That's not funny, jbendaou! That sounds like a very serious problem... Maybe the phone buttons still had the same function, but did the phone software provide the wrong text labels... <?>

okay - partially figured out...
in phone preferences there is a restrict calls dilogue,
they were set to restrict all status unknown calls.
I tried to change this to off and it asked me for a password.
I've tried a bunch of diff possibilities and it returns "command error".
on another interesting note: when you access these features - it goes out and "accesses the network" to get the values... indicating to me that this code is supplied or maintained by my carrier (cingular) - they have no knowledge, and SE support says "0000" should work.
stumped, and I dont want to reset my P800, but I might have to.
(even that might not change the problem though)
ideas?
