I've done practically everything to get this card to work. I've formatted under winME and win2k and neither works. I can read and write from the card to the PC fine, but the same message always comes up when I stick it into the MP3 Player: File System Error. This is getting really frustrating. I'm using a U-Tek card bought from ebay. can anyone provide some help? I've formatted under FAT and ROS (which says there are no music files). I bought a USB reader and formatted under it, still no luck.

The problem looks like it may be with your 128mb mmc card. usually this problem occurs with the card reader, but since you purchased a new card reader, the only culprit could be the memory. I wouldn't buy memory on ebay. most of the memory modules are refurbished, so stay away from ebay memory. you should buy memory from bestbuy, fry's, compusa, etc..

i have a 128 mb card and it works fine with my hpm-10, the origional ericsson card reader, and win2k. got my 128 card from compusa for $59 on sale and it is made my scan disk.
