Everytime I download files to my p800, it says "no viewer can be found to open this file", when i save it and go into "viewer", it says "Unknown file cannot be viewed".

Anyone got any ideas?

Ive tried to download "gypsydestiny" from my-symbian, along with other files, but none work.

Thanks

I had this with some vids I tried to download from a WAP site. I couldn't find a way to change the file associations. The extension was correct, but I got the same problem as you.

If I remember correctly, I then downloaded them using the standard browser, instead of Opera, and it work. However, that's not a proper solution.

SE told me to do a master reset to fix this problem. Since there might be a corrupted file somewhere.. Problem is that I don't want to do a master reset. So I will have to install all apps from the PC using USB cradle.

I also got R2F and didn't get the problem until I installed Tracker 2.0 or iRremote v0.90. Might be one of those whích caused it. Or a combination of all the apps I have. Because I could install .sis before I installed those 2 progs. It's like a computer. Could be anything which causes this. That's why SE asked me to do a master reset. Which I wont do.

The viewer program is a default program. I don't think it's possible to install and uninstall it.

If u look on the Multimedia cd, you will see a viewer sis file.

Install on the phone and replace existing files.

Might work?
