Hello everbody
I have searched and not found my answer so here goes...
I have seen images of a P800 with the Opera icon in the place of the internet standard logo, i.e. Opera being the default browser for the P800, but how is it done?
Next, Using the file manager program, when I wont to select a file to move, del or rename it always opens the file I am selecting and does not give me a chance todo anything with it, the only way round this is using Jotter which allwos you to select, any comments?
What I think of the p800... well it seams big but when you start to use it you relise it is really quiet small for all it does.

to replace the OEM browser icon with that of Opera in the menu bar, click VIEW - PREFERENCES and edit accordingly. there are some third party apps out there that let you reassign the phone's buttons too, e.g., reassigning the blue internet button to Opera. browse around www.my-symbian.com to see the various apps available.
to edit, delete, etc. files in file manager, click on the the icon at the left of the file name, and not on the file name itself otherwise it will open the file. |
