Just received my first Vaja case for the P800 from P800er.com
As usual P800er.com's service is first rate.
Now first impressions of the case:
I ordered mine in sapphire/gray patchouly based on the hi-res picture on the Vaja website. Unless you really like dark colours don't order it.
It's too dark and doesn't compliment the lighter tones of the P800 like I thought it would. I've also got a jean/beach on order from Vaja (personalised) so I'll let you know my impressions when it arrives.
The leather is not soft, it's some kind of a hard material wrapped in leather although the leather is very real and smells like it.
The construction seems good although the fit is very tight, perhaps because it's still new and needs breaking in. I did have trouble extracting the stylus, again maybe the case is still new and needs time. I'll try it out in the jean case when it arrives and let you know. I certainly won't be using the sapphire one.

I just got mine too -- about a week ago. Exquisite craftsmanship. Yes, it loosens up after a while and I never had a stylus problem. The ultimate case for the P800 IMHO but for flip removed only:

@omar

Wanna sell your sapphire one? I pre-ordered one from P800er but I guess there were more pre-orders than stock, so I missed out. I'll be glad to take it off your hands!

High-end phone, high-end case. There are much cheaper ones if you like.

I agree with Omar. It keeps all the functionality of the phone in tact while keeping it protected, the only case to do so; and it looks very funky!

@omar, I would really like to buy your Sapphire/Gray Vaja Case from you if you don't want it.

Doesn't add to the 'brick' factor? I can't imagine my p8 being any bigger than it already is. I like the look, though. Thoughts?

I hope they come out with a flip closed option, or at least a cover that protects the screen.

You can buy it but how would you pay for it and would you trust me to send it? I've been through this on esato before and got nowhere due to trust issues. I was selling a P800 at the time. Your call. Vaja have just informed me they've sent my blue/jean case.

@omar

I can vouch for B Jimmy's integrity. He and I have had a financial transaction before. I'll leave Jimmy to follow that up with you as he sees fit.

@aZooZa
Thanks for vouching for me. Also, I really like my new stylus. Very snug fit and very nice finish. I am extremely impressed by the overall quality. I'll borrow a decent camera from a friend and post some pics when I get the chance.

Thanks Bogus Jimmy!

Just time for a plug I think

After a very successful first listing, the styli are back on eBay again; solid silver, 9kt and 18kt gold:

Cheers!
