Please give a bit more details when letting us know about things like this! ta!

just in case ya's didnt know.

If you have your handset unlocked from its network, so it accepts any sim card, by anyone other than the network thats locked it, it voids the warranty on the handset.

If your handset has to go back to the manufacturer for a repair due to a fault and they find it has being unlocked by a third party than you are stuffed as they wont touch the handset and just send it back to you still unrepaired.

I aint joking with you's as i work in a mobile phone retail outlet and we are starting to get a lot of handsets sent back by the manufacturer unrepaired because they have found the software has been unlocked by a third party.

Also, sometimes we are getting some back repaired but the repair centre has locked it again back to its original network as we have had customers coming back complaining that they paid a tenner to get there phone unlocked and now its locked again!

It is totally ok for your warranty to get the network to unlock it for you though and much safer.

Just thought I would give ya's some food for thought.

Paul
