1. yes, assuming that your service contract allows you. The difference is the connection type (gsm or gprs) but in both cases you connect to a wap-gateway to browse.
2. hmmm this is a real layman's-explanation as i am nowhere near an expert but the diff has to to with connection type. What you call wap is a gsm data connection (a data call). Wether you you gsm or gprs to connect, eventually you'll end up entering thru a wap-gateway
in my experience gprs is faster than gsmdata connection.
3. errr? i suspect so??
4. ems is mms's little brother, it allows you to send messages with pictures and sounds. MMS is a more elaborate version, which allows multiple pages with sounds (moving) pics etc.
