This has to be the best thing. You can pick up about 5 nokias in victoria train station or on the tube. Anyany when blue jacking these nokia fools i sometimes get the message:
OBEX SEARCH error 6004
The line before shows the device it has found. Does this mean that my words of wisdom were not sent to the fortunate nokia owner. Somtimes it goes through and says cooling stack. I take it this means it has gone through.

The obex error could mean that they did not accept it.

When it goes to cooling off, the failure counter have reaced its value
And the search is going off for a time.

Not sure but it could be that the other phone did not accept it until the timeout value.
Or that it went out of range

It could also be that they have problems communicate (not sure if all phones use same standard)

Well these phones were definately in range as they were around for ages and i was in a pub where nobody was moving around. If i find them when discovering does this mean that they have blue tooth on or does it mean they are in range but don't have it on hence i can not communicate with them?

If you can find them, then bluetooth must be on. As for the communicating, they might have to manually accept you before you can communcaite with them, but if they don't know that you're trying to connect, they won't accept, and hence the timeout.

Ok i read somewhere in another bluejacking forum that somebody connected to a 7650 with a t68 and sent them something without them confirming anything. You reckon that is not possible them?

on a phone like the 7650 you can opt to either accept things automatically or manually...out of the box a 7650 has a bluetooth on standby and automatically accepts...this means that those people didnt fiddle much on their phone automatically gets what you throws to them.

my brother has a 7650 which he disabled the automatic accept option so even when his bluetooth is on...i can still discover it but he wont accept anything i throw until he accepts it...while im with my t68
