Im not using Ebay ever again ...
Paid thru paypal for a new Nokia 8310 , haven't recieved item , no replies to numerous emails and the website has gone of the seller.
Left it in the hands of Ebay now , just hope i get my money back somehow otherwise i've lost £94.00 GBP.

When buying mobile phones or computers from ebay I always choose sellers within reasonable driving distance so I can go and collect and check before paying money.
A wise tip perhaps. I think mobile phones are the biggest scam area on ebay.

Dont know why people buy off e-bay. You hear such story's all the time.
I think you should contact the relevent sept at e-bay and tell them what happend. You might (i doubt) get a refund. |

Been reported to the fraud section of Ebay but takes up to 36 hours for reply so i will see what happens..
Also told paypal but not sure if they can do anything about it ???
Think its worth telling my credit card company has thats where the payment comes off ?

If you bought buy your credit card then no worries - tell the issuer and you will most definately get a full refund on your card  |

Did u get ur money back? 8310 is really kak im using one right now Im dieing to get my S55 back then im gunna sell this thing to a relative or place it on eBay for £80 its 5mths old lol and in perfect condition so hope I get my amount asked when I sell the damn ting!

One guy when i was looking for a p800 said he was in spain, i said oh good i'm comming to spain next week, so he said, no i meant i'm in spain normally but i'm in US for a while, so i said which state as i have many relatives in US, he said he wasn't sure...............that was the last i heard even though i offered him double the money in my next email. he sseemed to loose interest

He sounds a lil Shit too! Ive not had probs with eBay, only once when sum woman ended the auction and wanted to meet me, I do not do that its send or no cando.. U get sum funny buggers out there u have to tread carefully lol

I think generally ebay works quite well. I have a rating of 106 and have only had 1 non payer and never had a problem as a buyer.
As I mentioned before though, there are categories that you really need to be careful with.
