Newcomer as I am in the world of mobile phones, I wonder whether some one could tell me how to delete preset (pre-defined) themes, pics and ringtones etc in the SE T300 model. I'm not praticularly interested in the fancy stuff and rather delete it to make room for my own preferences. Do I need a particular software or should I contact my SE retailer/service point for this?
Hope I haven't overlooked an already existing answer to this question - if I have, please excuse me.

Ok since no one else has replied yet I will just let you know that this has been discussed many times so its probably worth searching around a bit.

Basically though, if you attempt to delete an item and get the message that predefined items cannot be deleted then there is not much you can do.

You might like to check you have the latest firmware by doing this sequence

> * < < * < *

where < and > are joystick movements.

If you havent got R1G then take it to SE to get upgraded.

Hope this has been somewhat helpful

A more radical way of freeing a bit of space is doing a master reset, and after 12.5 or 13 secs pull ou t your battery. This prevents the predefined from loading again.

Do a search for the 13 seconds trick (this is how most ppl refer to it)

Good luck!
