I have a Psion Revo which does IRDA and happily uses the T68 to call an ISP over GSM and get online.

I now have a Bluetooth dongle for my PC and can share its broadband connection over Bluetooth, allowing the T68 to use it.

Can I use the T68 as a 'stepping stone' to let the Psion get online using my broadband connection?

It would look like:

Psion -> (IRDA) -> T68 -> (BLUETOOTH) -> PC -> broadband

Failing normal methods I notice bluetooth allows me to create 'virtual serial ports'. If I could route one of these through to the IRDA port on the phone - just as a standard 57600 serial connection that will let a terminal on the Psion talk to Hyperterminal on the PC - I could run pppd on the PC and access the internet that way.

Linux on the PC is also an option.

Any suggestions?
Thanks
Neil

Nope, I don't think it's possible.

There were threads asking how a t68 phone can connect to a computer acting as an internet gateway, i don't remember anyone posting a success story.
