I'm thinking of buying a P800, but there are still a few things i can't figure out..
*What's the quality and resolution of the picture's?
*What kind of memory sticks are avaiable (what sizes)?
Thanks in advantage

Oh, will the memory be erased if you switch it in your phone? Or can it keep it's data when not loaded with power

Memory stick duos range from 16mb to 128mb.
The files you store do not erase unless you want them to.
Picture quality is very good.
screen on the p800 is amazing.
the phone is the best thing ever made by any mobile phone manufacturer. |

picture resolution could be better. (wouldnt say amazin)
The memory is kept when powered off unlike the compaq ipaqs.
'When' you get one, check the software version, the latest is R2F and is free if you go to any SonyEricsson Centre.
The other must have is Tracker 2.0.
You know you want to!! |

The cam is ok outdoors for snapshots, 640 by 480 means your grandma can watch you blowing out your 75th Birthday candles on screen at very reasonable quality, providing she is not blind.
If you need to zoom into the picture then crop (blow up), or if you want to print at a size larger than a standard print (roughly a quarter of an A4) then the image size and resolution could be a lot better.
Expect even less if you select a smaller image size or lower quality setting on your camera. The cam is a novelty item, but usefull for showing something if the final image resolution and quality is not an issue.

Ok, it seems like I still need to buy my Canon Powershot G5 even if I have this phone
640x480 is indeed a crappy quality, but it's better then I expected of a camera inside a mobile phone!! |
