Bluetooth headsets on the T610 |

I am considering buying a bluetooth headset for my T610, I just have a few questions that someone out there can hopefully answer.
1. What is the main difference (apart from design) with the Sony Ericsson HBH-30 and the Sony Ericsson HBH-60?? Is it really worth spending the extra cash for the HBH-60 (about £30 extra)???
2. I have seen alot of people compaining of crackling noises when using these headsets with the T610 but the headsets worked fine with the T68, Will the crackling noise issue be fixed in future firmware updates of the phone???

Thats exactly what I am trying to sort out. My HB60 works fine on my T68i but is not as goos on the T610. My phones firmware is R2b. I am going to take it back and get an R3 T610. If that doesnt sort out the crackling in the T610 then a software upgrade should do it

Ive had a motorola (flip boom) and the new Nokia Bluetooth Headset and have taken them both back as they crackled too much and the range was crap on them. Also the Nokia had a terrible standby time I couldnt even get a day out of it with light use.

My hbh 60 sucks with the T610, but my Jabra bt200 works great...and fits the best in the ear in my opinion...plus it's cheap now. |

I've just bought HBH-60 for my t610, and it works bad. a crackling noise. The people in the store said it will be OK when I get my new software for the t610. So I'll just have to wait and see:)
The HBH-60 fits perfekt to the ear. HBH-30 is bigger and weight's more.
HBH-60 is just great!

If I had money I'd buy a Bluespoon or maybe wait for the digital BS. Not wanting to spend that much money I considered Jabra BT200 (that I bought), Nokia's golden little thing and Jabra BT100. The Nokia seems nice, but I am afraid that I'd loose the ear loop rather quickly, it fits rather loosely on the headset.
The BT200 seems to be a good choice, even though I might have a bad specimen. Said to have very good sound, I lack a bit of treble and have problems answering calls from the headset.

My HBH30 aslo sucks with my T610 but was gr8 with my T68i. Poor range, keeps loosing connection, quiet and crackles!!
When you guys go on about firmware & Software upgrades, do you have to get SE service centres to do it? Or can the software be downloaded to the phone?
I not happy really, there seems to be too many faults with the T610 for my liking

Looking at these replys, it looks like the best option is to wait or i will pick up a cheap handsfree (the HBH 20 is £25.87 at Expansys) for the short term but I will wait till bluetooth improves on the T610 which will hopefully happen in future firmware updates for the phone. It is a shame becuse on the surface the T610 is a truly wonderful phone, but has had its problems, and I hope Sony Ericsson are working hard to sort out these bluetooth problems. |
