Neonode forum is closed and the info msg is sorry....reconnstruction... and also that there will be the info about the releases (N1?) software versions for their products so it must be the launch! http://www.neonode.com/forum.html

i like both phones very much. the neonode delays are realy pissing me of.. i dont know what are they doing so long.. dont know what will happen but one of them will be mine... T610 or N1 i dont give a f*ck:))

When a company like this try to put a product like a mobile phone out into the marketplace, the costs can spiral out of control, while the technology is becoming outdated by the day, they are fighting a loosing battle.
They started the hype far too early now they are in the "When is SE releasing the p800" stage.
Then as each problem is fixed another 2 months have gone past & something else has to be included to make it "Up to date" so back to square one again, this cycle can repeat itself indeffinately, so they may have to release it with things missing, then add them later.
Also theres a good chance it may never turn up unless they are bought out by a larger company.

pachy: i agree, but i think they will release N1 this summer without beeing bought by larger company. if you think a little, N1 or T610 for almost same price: what would you buy ?? |

inteligent115... I would still get the T610 as the N1 has no vibrate (I never use ringtones), is dual band only, doesn't have bluetooth etc etc... (I'm sure this comparison has been done a few times before)

You guys are right and there is another thing if something happens to a N1 i mean software bug or something... i dont thing there will be any checkpoint in my country... but with SE theres no problems with that...

I think the phone is a scam... I know people have seen it and magazines have tested it and all, but to me it just doesn't exist. I'm sorry to say, but it's just too much... Too many delays, i'm sticking with SE, especially due to the 'support' questiong |

yeah I guess its down to what you want in the phone. for me BT and vibrate are an absolute must.
mind you, until the N1 is actually available, it doesn't have what you mentioned!

Well, I think there's another reason why they closed down the forum. A couple of weeks ago they made some new forum rules, saying that ppl were only allowed to talk about N1. At this moment there had been like no news about N1 for half a year, so all threads were either about other phones or how much Neonode sucks. They said they'd moderate the forum, but they didn't, and I guess they figured out that there's no point in having a forum when all it did was to promote other phones and "diss Neonode"---so they closed it down |
