Wahh! Its dead!!
I turn it on, get the little vibrate bit, then nothing at all!! Occasionally it boots up,gets to the boot up screen and just freezes tho. Ive done the 10 sec reset (like a million times), taken battery out for a bit.. put it in the docking bay.. everything!! Can anyone help me?

My guess is you have the first SW? There was a bug in it... All you need to do is take it to a SP and have a SW upgrade done to it. There is a coupple of topics on the subject here at Esato. One of them is mine because I had the same problem a few months back. You will have lost everything you had stored but if a sync has been done you have nothing to worry about, just do a backup when you have done the SWupgrade and you are back to normal.

I'm about to have mine upgrade. Correct me if I'm wrong, when you backup, all the CONTACTS will be save as well in their exact field. Unless I'm very much mistaken that you need to do a backup specifically on contacts. |
