Resolution to Bluetooth Headset Echoes |

I've been having bluetooth headset echoes and sent both my headset and handset in for servicing .. and they have no idea what's wrong so they flashed the firmware on the handset .. but echoes are still in place .. I did a search on the forum and found that I'm not the only one experiencing it .. but there hasn't been any confirmed final resolution .. some have changed their headset and it solved the problem while some have not got it solved .. while others have changed the handset or patched it and it soved the problem while some have not .. some have even changed both and it still not resolved ... so I decided to post a thread on this topic .. was wondering if anyone can shed light onto this so that I can bring in either my headset or handset in and get the problem resolved. Btw the echo problem I am talking about is that in which the other party hears their own voices .. I've tried the echo myself and it is quiet irritating .. |

Only time I ever got an echo from my Bluetooth headset is when my phone was on the charger and I was using the headset on a call.

I'm experiencing same problem... T610 with HBH35 - the headset works fine with a Nokia phone - no echo. Have tried plantronics with T610 - its better but still a slight echo.
Sony Ericsson are reparing phone apparently... will keep you updated. They said it was a software upgrade on the T610 - I'm not convinced.... they gave me a Z600 to use in the meantime and still getting echo!!! |

I've had the same echo problem with t68i and HBH-20. I also sent my headset for repair, twice, but no problem was ever found. Update of headset was performed but I didnt experience any improvement.
With an HBH-10 AND the same t68i I had no echoes! But HBH-10 is not really the headset you want
Recently I bought Nextlink Bluespoon Digital and I have NO echoes anymore. All the time I had the the same t68i and always the latest FW. BTW R8A015 is the latest t68i FW for the time being

I found that the echo is caused by the volume on the headset being to loud, which was in turn being picked up by the microphone, (as they are normally quite close).
simply turn the volume down abit. |

As Aqu4rius said, the echo is caused by the volume on the headset being to loud. (that whats is causing my echo anyway). Sometimes my friends says it echos alot, and thatīs always when I have my HBH-35 (connected with my T610) on a very high volume. |

Experienced same problem on:
HBH-10
HBH-20
HBH-30
HBH-60
However, sometimes the echos are gone, sometimes they come back.
I do agree that lowering the volume of the headset indeed helps a bit, but it is still annoying. |
