I downloaded a ketchup song mpeg4 file via opera from .. and saved it too my memory stick. When i try and access the file i get a message which says - No viewer can be found on your device to open this file.

Why does this message come when i have the mp4 player installed in the phone?

Thanks

If it was any other song I'm sure they would be flocking to help you out but the ketchup song.......hmmmm

Have you tried putting the file on your pc and playing it with an mp4 player?

Oops interesting blank reply there...

Anyway - can you see the file listed in the mp4 player? Have you checked it has the right extension on the file? .mp4?

Why don't you try connecting your p800 to the pc via the cradle.

then download an mp4 off the net and using syncronization download into your phone, if you then play the file - it should be ok.

where are you getting these movie files from? I'll download them and see what the problem is.

Right...this is how it works.

I downloaded the file straight onto my phone with opera and got the same error message as you. I then noticed that there was a % on the end of the file name "2 Fast 2 Furious.mp4%"

Rename the file and remove the % from the end so that it just finishes with .mp4

It plays fine after that
