Does any one have an idea when the Sony Ericsson T610 will be released in USA...with T-Mobile in particular?
I could purchase it from overseas, but I don't what to go through the trouble if I can get it here soon. |

Probably not for a while, cause I the other day at Tmobile the kid that worked there tried to get me to buy their newest phone, the Nokia 6610... The T610 blows that away! |

I don't know about T-Mobile, but Cingular should be carrying the T616 in a week or so. My friend called me yesterday and said he got a fax from them. It's $250 with a 1-year contract, or $200 with a 2-year contract. I was kind of suspicious that he was just messing with me because he knows I've been waiting for this phone, but I just checked howardforums and some people there had some similar info. In fact, some stores there claim to already have it. |

The T616 (Cingular) has been launched but it's on back order until next week. |

Looks like it'll be available soon. I just checked out their site and if you look under phones, they just made a few slots open where they would be adding phones.
Before, if you look at it, there were enough phones to fill the page evenly (no blank areas). |

It might not be available in your particular area yet. Next time you go to the site, try entering in, for example, Indiana as your home calling area and you will see it. |

I think they will be locked, but with T-Mobile it is quite simple to get the unlocking code if you ask for it. |

a couple of weeks ago i thought i saw in one of the threads here that the t610 will be rolling out in TMO-fla. and in HoFo i read somebody quoted a price of 150usd with contract in SF-i assume that some of the stores have em' (all unconfirmed). frankly, i'd wait until the t610 has rolled out here for weeks before i commit to one. i'd like to be certain that all the bugs would be worked out and get a defect free fon. if youre in heat, some mall kiosks for cel providers can order the T610 and hook you up with a deal provided u sign a contract. but you may run into problems with the fon you will be getting (buggy) |

If you go to Cingular's site (depending on the city) like jersey city NJ, they already offer the T616 for 199.99. It's just a matter of time until the other cities get them as well... I wonder why SoCal doesn't have it yet... |

Just saw it today being sold by a dealer in New York in Chinatown. She said that it is $450 USD without contract and $200 USD with a one year contract with T-Mobile. Not that bad of a deal but I think I'm gonna wait till it drops below $300 without contract. |
